Accord top priority to power safety: Minister
Minister for Energy K Kala Venkata Rao said that power consumers should always check all the vulnerable points in the electrical lines to prevent the short circuit fires. With the usage of the advanced electrical fittings and gadgets, the short circuit accidents could be prevented, however, the consumers should check the points periodically to prevent the accidents, the Minister added.

The A-1 Contractors Association of Andhra Pradesh organised a meeting on safety aspect in usage of power in the city on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the government has been giving top priority to the safety.
