Govt to distribute 10,000 tractors to farmers soon
To ensure more gains to farmers, Industries Minister N Amaranatha Reddy said the state government has decided to distribute 10,000 tractors to farmers under the farm mechanisation programme.

Addressing a meeting after the launch of Kisan Point Agri-Repository buy and sale platform here on Wednesday, the Minister said that the TDP government is giving high priority to agriculture. He made an appeal to farmers to adopt latest technologies in farming for getting more returns instead of following traditional pattern.
He recalled that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has agreed to release an incentive of Rs 980 crore to the farmers as against the target of Rs 450 crore.
District Collector P S Pradyumna said a proposal was submitted to the government for making the district as horticulture hub. Joint Director of Agriculture Vijaya Kumar has explained the concept of Kisan Point online services to the farming community. Chittoor Mayor K Hemalatha and other officials and TDP leaders were present.
