Officials told to make effective arrangements
A review meeting held here on Wednesday with officials concerned for making foolproof arrangements for the ensuing Brahmotsavams of Lord Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy temple at Kanipakam.
Kanipakam (Chittoor): A review meeting held here on Wednesday with officials concerned for making foolproof arrangements for the ensuing Brahmotsavams of Lord Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy temple at Kanipakam.
Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) Kodandarami Reddy, who is entrusted with the task of supervising the arrangements for Brahmotsavams, has instructed the officials to provide all facilities needed for devotees. He stated that devotees from all parts of the state would arrive at Kanipakam for the auspicious occasion of Brahmotsavams.
The Brahmotsavams at Kanipakam temple would be held from August 25 to September 14. He directed the officials of the Revenue, Police, Health, Roads and Buildings, Sanitation and Panchayat Raj departments to perform their duties effectively with better coordination for making the event a grand success.
The RDO instructed officials to be on high alert as 1 lakh devotees are expected to visit on the day of Vinayaka Chaturthi festival, besides, Ministers, elected representatives, District Collector and SP and other important dignitaries.
