RINL new stockyard opened in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Chairman-cum-Managing Director of RINL P Madhusudan inaugurated the new steel stockyard of the company, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, at BB Gudem Road, Gannavaram, on Wednesday with an aim to increasing RINL presence in the capital region Amaravati and its surroundings.

This is the second outlet of RINL after Visakhapatnam.Addressing the customers and retailers, Madhusudan said that RINL was known for quality products with stringent specifications and the stockyard would largely cater to the needs of the development of the capital region Amaravati and particularly to the retail and project customers of the region.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's government is giving top priority to RINL products in the construction of irrigation projects, particularly the multi-purpose Polavaram project and housing and other projects, the CMD said. The steel consumption would improve due to policy initiatives of the Centre in the housing, infrastructure, railways and construction sectors. The RINL would improve its sales volume in this region, the CMD added.

Director (Commercial) P Raychaudhury, Executive Director (Marketing) PS Gupta also addressed the gathering. General Manager (Marketing) J Satyanarayana, senior officials of marketing department, customers and retailers were present.
RINL produces various sizes of steel products like TMT rebars, wire rods, rounds, channels, spring steel, medium and high carbon steel and special steel for purpose of real estate, construction and automobile sectors.
