Addressing the participants, the Rayalaseema activist alleged that all the successive governments in united AP have neglected the development of Rayalaseema region. “Even, the Rayalaseema region is being discriminated by the TDP government in the truncated state,” he criticised.

The political parties taking people of Rayalaseema for a ride to win the 53 MLA seats from the region to form the government, he stated and added that it is the right time to fight for separate state as the ruling BJP-led NDA government is in favour creating smaller states.

RRS president Kuncham Venkatasubba Reddy demanded that the state government should start Telugu and Central universities and Telugu Academy in Rayalaseema region. He asked the central government to sanction Rs 10 lakh crore package for comprehensive development of Seema region.

The RRS leader advised the state government to utilise the funds of TTD only for Seema development and 80 percent of jobs to local unemployed youth. Later, 17 resolutions were passed unanimously on Rayalaseema development in the plenary. In the plenary, Seema activist Viswanath Reddy and other leaders were present.
