Guntur: Diirector General of Police N Sambasiva Rao said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the AP Police headquarters building complex, which was constructed at a cost of Rs 40 crore, on the APSP sixth battalion premises on Chennai –Calcutta Highway near Mangalagiri town on August 16. He inspected the newly constructed AP Police headquarters building along with the police officers.

Later, speaking to the media, he said first floor was allotted to CID, second and third floors were allotted to P&L, Police Recruitment Board, training, L&O ADG. He said the DGP office was in the fifth floor. He said DGP chamber was set up in the bullet proof chamber and added that parking lot was set up in one acre land. He said biometric is must for entering any room in the DGP Office.

He said a conference hall was constructed in the fifth floor to conduct meetings with the SPs and other police personnel. Replying to a question, he said, they have completed building construction within 10 months. He reminded that Home Minister N Chinarajappa laid the foundation stone for the construction of AP Police headquarters building 10 months ago.
