Land acquisition office inaugurated
The new office building for Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority inaugurated by District Collector PS Pradyumna here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, the presiding officer and retired judge K Sivaprasad said that the people of Rayalaseema can resolve their cases relating to the land acquisition and rehabilitation in this court.
Tirupati: The new office building for Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority inaugurated by District Collector PS Pradyumna here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, the presiding officer and retired judge K Sivaprasad said that the people of Rayalaseema can resolve their cases relating to the land acquisition and rehabilitation in this court.
The Collector said that the cases will be resolved according to the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 only. The state government has appointed three retired judges as the authority chairmen in the three regional offices at Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati.
The cases in the land acquisition court of the Collector which were hitherto being transferred to the 3rd additional district judge, will come to the court of the Authority Chairman here after, the Collector said. Joint Collector Girisha, Trainee Collector Keerthi, Deputy Collector NC Subrahmanyam and other officials participated.
