Rajahmahendravaram: KG-Basin ONGC- V Shyam Mohan, GGM-Basin Manager- extended Rs 70 lakh to schools in East, West Godavari and Krishna districts under Corporate Social Responsibility today.

The financial assistance was disbursed by Vijayakumaran, GM-head Forward Base, Rajahmahendravaram, at Godavari Bhavan, base complex to the teachers and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijayakumaran said ONGC is committed to the development of the operational areas and will walk the extra mile for improving the development index of the region.

ONGC has immense potential and technical prowess to take on operational challenges and without compromising on safety of the employees, communities around and its environs. He sought the cooperation of the beneficiaries in spreading the message of ONGC’s contribution to the society.

As many as 40 schools received the financial assistance towards, school infrastructure and RO plants. The programme was coordinated by B Ratnam, DGM-CSR coordinator.
