Speaking in the valedictory session of the week-long ‘Samskrutha Saptaha’ organised by Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) here on Thursday. He said that the Indian culture and heritage is being nurtured by Sanskrit.

This language will definitely boost the person in a good manner. “All Indian languages are inter-related with Sanskrit. If Sanskrit is learnt, lifestyle will be in the threshold and can have excellent grip on other languages,” he said and added that everybody should have an intrusion to learn and speak the Sanskrit in day-to-day life so that they can achieve everything in their life.

In his presidential address, RSVP Vice-Chancellor Prof V Muralidhara Sharma categorically said that the Vidyapeetha will be the powerhouse for Sanskrit. “We are starting Sanskrit Prachara Kendra for the benefit of the people of Tirupati not only to learn Sanskrit but also to preach in their daily life,” he averred.

On the occasion, the Parishads of RSVP such as Sanskrit Prachara Kendra, Vagvardhini Parishad for Sanskrit, Maxmuller English Club, Tulasidas Hindi Club, Annamayya Kalapraishad for Telugu, Cultural Club and so on were inaugurated by the chief guest. Registrar Prof C Umashankar, Prof MLN Murthy, Dr C Ranganathan, Prof Ch Satyanaryana, Prof Satyanarayancharya, Dr Kadambini, Dr Somnatha Das and others also participated.

Earlier in the day, a massive rally with 300 members was organised which passed through main streets of temple city and they raised slogans of Sanskrit is the language of masses not of a
particular class.
