  • By-election is a battle between Dharma and Adharma: Jagan

Pulivendula in Kadapa district was developed with all basic and infrastructure facilities during the tenure of YS Rajasekhara Reddy as Chief Minister. Participating in a road show at Pandurangapuram on Friday, the YSRCP leader said that he will provide water for two crops under the KC Canal.

He promised to resolve the long pending demands of completing Gundrevula and Siddeswaram projects. Calling on people to give a big mandate to his party, YS Jagan said he would strive for the welfare and development of people like his father and former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy did. He also participated in road shows at Krantinagar, Chapirevula, Udumalpuram and Polur villages in Nandyal mandal on his third day tour.

At Chapirevula, Jagan said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is planning to distribute money to voters in Nandyal Assembly constituency which he had amassed illegally. He advised people to accept money given by the TDP leaders and use conscience while voting.

The YSRCP chief alleged that Naidu has failed to fulfil the promises made during 2014 elections but he is resorting to illegal practices to win by-election with money and muscle power. Terming the by-election is a battle between Dharma and Adharma, Jagan said he had inherited strong support of people because of his father Rajasekhara Reddy. YSR's welfare schemes left an indelible mark in the minds of people even after Chandrababu came to power, he stated.
