Mass Varalakshmi vratham at Pada Gaya temple
Varalakshmi Vratham was celebrated on a grand note at Pada Gaya Kshetram on Friday.Devotees thronged the temple from early morning on the occasion. In all, 2,400 married women participated in mass vratham on the premises of Purhuthika Ammavari temple.

MLA SVSN Varma, along with his wife, performed special pujas. Temple authorities distributed items which are required for the vratham to the devotees. Special abhishekam was performed to Kukkuteswara Swamy, Goddess Raja Rajeswari and Dattatreya Swamy. Later, prasadam was distributed.
The devotees faced hard time in queue line as many women devotees turned up for the event. Temple authorities failed in making arrangements to the convenience of the devotees. Temple chairman K Suryaprakash Rao and temple staff were present.
