Preparations set for Independence Day celebrations at Tirupati

The Andhra Pradesh government is all set to conduct the state-level Independence Day celebrations in Tirupati at the Tarakarama Stadium of Sri Venkateswara University.

Preparations are going on in full swing and the security arrangements are being supervised by the district officials to make the Independence Day celebrations a huge success.

For the Independence Day parade, fourteen tableaus of various departments are participating with NCC, Excise and former Army personnel taking part for the first time.

With incessant rains lashing out in the state, a BT road has been laid for the parade.
