CM to release Godavari water for Vizag tomorrow
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will release Godavari water to Visakhapatnam through Left Main Canal (LMC) of Polavaram Project from Purushottapatnam Lift Irrigation Scheme (PPLIS) on Tuesday.
Rajamahendravaram: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will release Godavari water to Visakhapatnam through Left Main Canal (LMC) of Polavaram Project from Purushottapatnam Lift Irrigation Scheme (PPLIS) on Tuesday.
As part of it, the Chief Minister will reach Rajahmundry airport at 1 pm from Tirupati and from there he would fly to Sitanagaram by a chopper. At 1.30 pm, he will inspect PPLIS works at Pushurattapatnam village and release Godavari water into LMC at Nagampalli village at 2.20 pm.
Later, the Chief Minister will address a public meeting at Jaggampeta between 3 pm and 3.45 pm and from there he will proceed to Rajamahendravaram airport and leave for Hyderabad.
The district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the whirlwind tour of the Chief Minister in East Godavari district on Tuesday. Collector Karthikeya Mishra, Sub-Collector V V R Raju and other officials inspected PPLIS works here on Sunday.
