While idol makers have been busy making idols of Ganesha, the municipal office road is being closed for traffic for celebration of the Elephant God's 10-day Hindu festival which actually falls on August 25. Religious organisations and youth clubs are now busy erecting pandals in all the streets to celebrate Ganesha's birthday, while campaigns are being run on making only clay idols.
