Kapu leaders formed a human chain on the main road at Bangaramma Ravi Chettu centre here on Sunday demanding permission to the Padayatra proposed by former minister and Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham. Pithapuram: Kapu leaders formed a human chain on the main road at Bangaramma Ravi Chettu centre here on Sunday demanding permission to the Padayatra proposed by former minister and Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham.

Addressing the participants, former minister K Ch Mohan Rao wanted the government to permit Mudragada’s yatra which is intended to press the demand for inclusion of Kapus in the BC list. He criticised Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for failing to honour election promises. Talisetti Venkateswara Rao, Gunda Venkataramana, Gandepalli Babi and others took part in the agitation.
