He added that the DGP N Sambasiva Rao would reach the main dais at 8.30 am and Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar would arrive at 8.35 am. “They both will receive the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at 8.55 am. The Chief Minister will unfurl the national flag at 9 am and receive the police guard of honour. He will also address the public on the development of the state in various fronts,” the collector informed.

Meanwhile, there was a downpour on Monday afternoon. But it has not caused any damage to the arrangements. Isolated rains are forecast for the next two days. With the thick clouds blanketing the city, officials are on high alert taking care even about minute things.
