In regard to the upcoming by-polls, Balakrishna began his campaign in Nandyal and was accompanied by several TDP leaders and fans.
During his speech, he said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is working hard for the development of the state.
Recollecting memories of his late father and the founder of TDP political party, NT Rama Rao who was accepted by people and became Chief Minister within a short time, Balakrishna also reminded the public of the services NTR made to the poor.
Citing the tradition in the party to give ticket to the deceased leader's family members, he urged the voters to bless TDP candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy and make him win.
