Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam City Police Commissioner T Yoganand rewarded K Kranthi Swaroop on Thursday with a cash prize of Rs 20,000 for successfully designing city police logo, representing the thoughts of police department.
Earlier, Commissioner Yoganand announced a cash prize of Rs 10,000 but later it was increased to Rs 20,000. It is learnt that enthusiasts submitted logo designs. Among them, Kranthi Swaroop’s work has been selected as the best. Kranthi is the son of K Srinivasa Rao, who is the head constable attached with the City Special Branch.
