Dharna staged against Police Mithras
People in Srungavarapukota staged a dharna in front of police station alleging that Police Mithras were harassing and assaulting them.
Srungavarapukota (Vizianagaram): People in Srungavarapukota staged a dharna in front of police station alleging that Police Mithras were harassing and assaulting them.
The police department appointed those youth with social concern, who wanted to do service to society, during their leisure time. But it is learnt that Police Mithras are reportedly misbehaving and even assaulting the people.
Apart from that Police Mithras are misusing their tag and even demanding bribes from shop keepers. This led to quarrels between the youth of S Kota and Police Mithras.
Last week, Police Mithras and youth of a community clashed near bus stand. Now the locals staged the dharna and demanded that police register cases against Mithras for frequently harassing them.
