Speaking on the occasion Dr Ashok said that after an accident if treatment is given to the victim immediately, chances of survival are more. There will be five liters of blood in a human body and if 2 liters of blood bleeds after the accident chances of the victim to survive is very less. He further said that if the victim had head injury and blood oozes out from head, ear and nose, CT scan should be taken and should be kept under observation.

Recently two wheeler ambulance services was launched at Vijayawada and they reach the accident spot quickly and start first aid before moving the victim to the nearest hospital. Heart attack patients would be unconscious, and they should be treated very carefully and the precautions has to be taken. Brain stroke and Paralysis patients should be given emergency treatment in 3 hours, he mentioned. SMK principal Dr T Vijayalakshmi, NSS programme officer K Sarala, T Nagarani, RRC convener K Kavitha, students and staff were present.
