Intermediate student found unconscious on Godavari River bank

An Intermediate First year student of Nirmal Hruday Junior College in Nizamabad was found in an unconscious state on the banks of River Godavari, at Basara on Thursday.

The girl, Aparna was admitted to the nearest Primary Health Centre (PHC) and is currently undergoing treatment. According to the police, the girl informed them that she was kidnapped from her college by two women, who drugged her.

The victim was lured out of the hostel premises after the culprits said that her parents are waiting for her outside. The girl said that she doesn't know what happened after she came out of the hostel. A case has been registered and the police have begun investigation.
