Line inspector lands in ACB net

A line inspector was caught by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths while accepting Rs 6,000 bribe here on Wednesday. According to ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police Rama Raju, Ilias Basha applied to Electricity department seeking power connection for his welding shop at Santhi Nagar Colony on Bellari Road.
Kurnool: A line inspector was caught by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths while accepting Rs 6,000 bribe here on Wednesday. According to ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police Rama Raju, Ilias Basha applied to Electricity department seeking power connection for his welding shop at Santhi Nagar Colony on Bellari Road.
Line inspector Prabhakar demanded Rs 20,000 for the work. Vexed with the demand, Basha approached the ACB who laid a trap and caught Prabhakar while accepting Rs 6,000 as an installment from Basha.
