Broker cheats devotees, flees with Rs 20,000

Devotees Hemanth Kumar and Harsha of Peddapalli in Karimnagar district was cheated by unknown broker at Tirumala JEO office on Thursday. Devotees Hemanth and Harsha allegedly paid Rs 20,000 for break darshan tickets. Broker ensured the devotees of darshan tickets and escaped with money.
Tirupati: Devotees Hemanth Kumar and Harsha of Peddapalli in Karimnagar district was cheated by unknown broker at Tirumala JEO office on Thursday. Devotees Hemanth and Harsha allegedly paid Rs 20,000 for break darshan tickets. Broker ensured the devotees of darshan tickets and escaped with money.
The victims reported about broker cheating to vigilance officials. TTD vigilance personnel started inquiry from the JEO office and are looking at CCTV footage to identify the broker. However, with recommendation from CM office, devotees have received Kalyanotsavam tickets for darshan.
