Minister for endowments Pydikondala Manikyala Rao asserted that the department has not received a single rupee from TTD.
Tirupati: Minister for endowments Pydikondala Manikyala Rao asserted that the department has not received a single rupee from TTD.
Addressing a press conference at Padamavati Guest House, here on Thursday, the minister made it clear that the endowments departments has not used TTD money for any work. “Due to funds crunch, a few temples falling under endowments department are renovated with TTD funds,” he said.
He informed that Central finance minister Arun Jaitley assured that TTD can submitting old currency notes to RBI. “We are implementing the Divya Darshanam tour successfully for poor Hindu devotees across the state. We have laid foundation stone for 100 rooms rest house at Srikalahasti Devasthanam on Thursday,” the minister added.Former TTD board member G Bhanu Prakash Reddy and others were also present.
