Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed the district officials to implement government welfare schemes with an objective of getting satisfaction from majority people. He has reviewed the development works with the district officials at Sri Padmavathi Guest House in Tirupati on late Friday night.

He reached pilgrim city to attend the wedding reception of the grandson of former Minister Galla Aruna Kumari. The Chief Minister reviewed the pending issues like road laying and Handri-Neeva canal works.
Speaking at the meeting, he instructed the officials concerned to complete the first package works of national highway by December 2018 and to start the second package works by September 10, 2017. He instructed the District Collector to speak to the forest officials for getting forest clearances at the earliest. Naidu directed the officials to speed up the process of the land acquisition for laying six-lane roads between Chittoor-Tirupati and Renigunta-Naidupet.
“Laying of four-lane roads between Madanapalle-Piler and Piler-Tirupati in the first and second packages respectively should be completed within 100 days,” he instructed.
When NHAI Project Director informed the Chief Minister that the flyovers at Karakambadi and Kapilatheertham will be constructed after getting forest clearances from the TTD, he immediately asked the TTD EO AK Singhal to expedite the clearances immediately. Naidu also made it clear to the HNSS officials that the works of project must be completed before the deadline. Earlier, he inaugurated Rs 1.25 crore central lighting system on Tirupati-Renigunta highway.
On Saturday morning, he received representations from the public while going to the airport. Later, he left for Kadapa by a special flight en route to Nandyal for election campaign.
District Collector PS Pradyumna, DIG J Prabhakar Rao, Joint Collector PS Girisha, Urban SP Abhishek Mohanty, Tirupati Sub Collector Nishanth Kumar, Madanapalle Sub Collector Vetri Selvi, MCT Commissioner Hari Kiran, Chittoor MP Dr N Sivaprasad, MLC G Srinivasulu, MLA M Suguna and others participated in Chief Minister’s programmes.
On Saturday morning, the police stopped TUDA chairman G Narasimha Yadav from meeting the Chief Minister, who was present in the Padmavathi Guest House. In protest, he sat before the main entrance of the guest house but failed to meet Chandrababu.
Later in the day, the Collector has reviewed the developmental activities in Kuppam constituency through video conference from Renigunta Tahsildar office. He has directed the officials to complete all the ongoing civil and engineering works by December. He asked the DRDA Project Director to take steps to download the e-commerce online marketing app to one
provision shop in every village.
