Drizzle paralyses normal lif
The drizzle influenced by depression in the Bay of Bengal paralysed the normal life in the city on Friday. It was cloudy sky prevailed all over the day. Vijayawada: The drizzle influenced by depression in the Bay of Bengal paralysed the normal life in the city on Friday. It was cloudy sky prevailed all over the day. The intermittent drizzle at some places and downpour in some other localities troubled motorists, pedestrians and bus passengers. Temperature dropped to 27 degrees in the city. Though it was cool weather, the drizzle affected daily routine of citizens.
School and college students, government and private employees and others faced some inconvenience as there was no relief from the drizzle. Some streets in the city turned wet making vehicular movement difficult. Potholes on roads filled and two-wheeler and auto riders found roads dangerous. The potholes led to traffic troubles at Kabela, BRP Road, Challapalli Bungalow, Kotha Vantena and other places.
Petty vendors, push cart eatery stalls and mobile businessmen suffered a lot. Though there was rush at these stalls, the vendors failed to cash it because of drizzle.There was rush at cinemas as some managed to find a cozy place for a few hours. At Besant Road, hundreds of petty vendors spent the day without any activity.
