2-day Akritti Elite expo inaugurated

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Women’s Commission Chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari and Gateway Hotel Director Supriya Mallineni on Saturday inaugurated two days Akritti Elite, an exhibition-cum-sale, at A-Convention Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajakumari said that it was happy to see various apparels, particularly designer wear, dress materials, designer sarees, furnishings to be showcased for fashion connoisseurs and such platforms are required to reach out to women looking for well-designed sarees and lifestyle accessories.
Expo organiser Sashi Nahata said that about 70 stalls were setup and participants from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore and other parts of the country showcased their products and designer works at the expo and the attractive products appealing to ever changing tastes and panache of women in the society.
Sashi further said the exclusive varieties of designer sarees, dress materials, kurtis, fashion and bridal jewellery, Kashmir silk, gold jewellery, Rajasthani bed sheets, Banarasi sarees accessories. daily care, home decor, designer bags and footwear are available in the expo. The exhibition has been planned as part of charity initiative, she added.Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen had presented award to Akritti Elite for showcasing variety of designer ware recently.
