The second batch of the Mahila Mitra volunteers received training in life skills, communication skills and self-defence on the premises of the Vasavya Mahila Mandali on the third-day Saturday as part of the four-day programme organised by Inner Wheel Club and sponsored by Axis Bank.
Vijayawada: The second batch of the Mahila Mitra volunteers received training in life skills, communication skills and self-defence on the premises of the Vasavya Mahila Mandali on the third-day Saturday as part of the four-day programme organised by Inner Wheel Club and sponsored by Axis Bank.
Dr B Keerti, addressing the trainers, said that Mahila Mitra volunteers are playing an important role in the society and the skills they learn in the camp would be useful for them in the society to help others. She advised the volunteers to identify women who are facing problems and help them by boosting their morale.
G Revati, programme manager, said that the volunteers should cultivate the habit of listening with patience. Stating that every person needs ventilation, she said that people should share their happiness and agony with their trusted friends. She said that being introvert is a psychological problem. She advised the school managements to teach students the ventilation points and encourage them to share their feelings with their parents.
