Reliance staff mite to HIV-hit kids
Joint Collector Dr Mallikarjuna Annam distributed two sets of new uniforms, school bags and note books, along with usual nutritive kits, to the Children of HIV affected and HIV infected children under initiative ‘Chiru Deepam’. He was the chief guest at the programe organised by Reliance Industries at Rotary Meeting Hall here on Saturday.
Kakinada: Joint Collector Dr Mallikarjuna Annam distributed two sets of new uniforms, school bags and note books, along with usual nutritive kits, to the Children of HIV affected and HIV infected children under initiative ‘Chiru Deepam’. He was the chief guest at the programe organised by Reliance Industries at Rotary Meeting Hall here on Saturday.
Addressing the meeting, he said that it is the responsibility of individuals to take care of those children. He assured help to the needy children. The Joint Collector explained various schemes that are available for the special children and advised them to make best use of those schemes.
Dr Mallikarjuna Annam appreciated the philanthropists for supporting HIV children and stated that this is a unique service.
Information and Public Relations Department Deputy Director M Francis attended the programme and distributed kits to children and appreciated the RIL employees for taking up the service oriented programme.
Addressing the gathering, M Nagi Reddy praised the efforts of employees. Employees of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Gadimoga have come together to support HIV affected and HIV infected children). They are contributing their mite to provide nutrition kits and other support to 90 children every month from 2009.
