Subsequently, Raghuveera accompanied by former Union Ministers Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy and J D Seelam gave a representation to the Nandyal by-election observer Himanshu Choudhary. Speaking on the occasion, Raghuveera Reddy alleged that both Telugu Desam and YSR Congress Party leaders were violating the model code of conduct.

He alleged that the leaders of both parties were distributing money and supplying liquor to buy the votes. Despite spending a lot of amount, he wondered how the Telugu Desam Party candidate showed an election expenditure of only Rs 3, 82,450 and the YSR Congress candidate Rs 5, 68,095. This is nothing but cheating the Election Commission, he said.

He demanded that the Election Commission should intervene in the issue and conduct a probe with the Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) so that the facts would come to light. He said the byelection is not being held in a fair manner.
So in the interest of public to ensure a fair election, Raghuveera Reddy appealed to the election observer to suspend the by-election.
