Kakinada: Former MLA and minister Mootha Gopalakrishna is a land grabber, he tampered with the land records belonging to railways and registered those lands on his son’s name, alleged Kakinada city MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao. Addressing a press conference at his residence here on Sunday, said word development had a different meaning during Gopalakrishna’s tenure.

“In his first term Gopalakrishna established Boon School partly on the land belonging to endowments department. In his second term, he along with some others constructed Halcyon Times for which he grabbed government land. In his third term, he built a guesthouse in an acre land at S.Atchyutapuram. In all those years, Mootha Gopalakrishna developed but the people of Kakinada did not,” he said. Venkateswara Rao also alleged that Gopalakrishna’s aides grabbed even the Pindala Satram.
