Reorganise Niti Aayog: Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh

Vijayawada: Members of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh state organisation on Monday staged a protest against Niti Aayog and demanded to reorganise the functions of Niti Aayog (NA) at Vijayawada Railway Station on Monday. Speaking at the gathering, BMS national vice-president M Jagadishwara Rao said that Niti Aayog was misguiding the government by giving false advises and the people are developing a negative impression on the government. With false advises by the NA there was no development programmes in the country and no benefit was done to the poor, he said.

He reminded that the Central government had cancelled imposing taxes on agricultural products which shows clearly the wrong and false advises given by NA to the government and further demanded the government to reorganise NA and held the people, workers, employees in the country.

The Supreme Court had recently given an order “Equal work to Equal pay” in favour of contract employees and NA had recommended the government against apex court order. NA had further recommended women employees to work at night shifts. If NA was not reorganised, BMS warned that they would protest against the government in a big way.
