Youth found dead with throat slit

Unidentified persons killed a 27-year-old youth and dumped his body in a corn field on the outskirts of Mamidalapadu village on Monday. Based on the information of villagers, the Kurnool Taluk Circle Inspector Maheshwar Reddy along with police personnel reached the spot.

The police identified deceased as D Srinivasulu, a mason and a resident of Mamata Nagar. His body was shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem. The police informed about the death of Srinivasulu to his family members. A case was registered. The police suspecting illegal affair might be the reason behind his killing.
