According to the reports, 2500 police personnel have been deployed near the polling booths so that the voting process is conducted smoothly.

Visiting the polling booths in Nandyala constituency, TDP candidate, Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy said that the polling has been peaceful and that it reached around 60 percent by afternoon and he is expecting above 80 percent by the end of the day.

He expressed happiness that women voters are in a majority in almost all areas and the polling percentage took a hike by at least 20 percent compared to the previous election.
