Nepal Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba visited Tirumala on Saturday and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara. His family members and other key officials accompanied the visiting dignitary. Later, speaking to media persons, the PM of Nepal said, it was great to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara. 

Tirupati: Nepal Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba visited Tirumala on Saturday and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara. His family members and other key officials accompanied the visiting dignitary. Later, speaking to media persons, the PM of Nepal said, it was great to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

“The traditions, culture and faith of both Nepal and India are same. I prayed to Lord to bless both the countries and humanity with prosperity,” he reiterated. To a question, he said the Doklam issue could be solved through dialogue between India and China.

On his arrival, the Nepal PM was accorded warm reception at the main entrance by TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju and team of archakas..

In Ranganayakula Mandapam, the PM of Nepal and others were offered Vedasirvachanam. Later Deuba along with his spouse Dr Arzu Rana Deuba were offered with Teertha Prasadams, lamination photo and Sesha Vastram of Lord Venkateswara.

Minister for Information and Public relations K Srinivas was appointed as minister in waiting for Nepal PM’s visit by the state government. He along with the district collector PS Pradyumna, temple Dy EO Rama Rao and others were present. Earlier, the Nepal PM was received by the district administration at the Renigunta airport. PM Deuba and his entourage left Tirupati after Darshan at Tirumala to Gaya in Bihar by special aircraft.
