Tirupati: Collector PS Pradyumna inspected the beautification works at Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women’s (SPMC-W) Hospital building on Sunday which the President Ramnath Kovind is expected to inaugurate during his proposed visit to Tirupati and Tirumala on September 1 and 2. He instructed the officers to complete the beautification works of the Hospital before Monday evening. The 700-bedded hospital is divided into four blocks.

The President of India will have an informal discussion with the students of medical college. To organise this programme, Srinivasa Auditorium of SV University and Ramanaidu Kalyana Mandapam were inspected, Collector said. President will reach Tirumala on September 1 evening and stay there overnight.

On September 2, he will participate in the medical college programme. SVIMS Director-cum-Vice Chancellor Dr TS Ravi Kumar, JC-2 VR Chandramouli, Municipal Corporation in-charge Commissioner Sri Devi, Urban Tahsildar Chandramohan, Rural Tahsildar Rajagopal were present.
