In a brief interaction with minister Dr P Narayana, Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar, special CS to CM Satish Chandra, chairperson Amaravati Development Corporation Lakshmi Pardhasaradhi, principal secretary Ajay Jain, Commissioner CRDA Cherukuri Sreedhar, Additional Commissioner, Rammanohar Rao, he suggested them to take necessary steps as farmers should have first right on developments. The Chief Minister expressed happiness on the Harvard University’s decision to study the Land Pooling System (LPS) of AP government.
The CM further opined the app “Mana Amaravati” developed by CRDA could be helpful to farmers to showcase their plots to global audience. They can get profitable prices for their plots without the involvement of middle men. The app would also be helpful in availing services like loan eligibility, building permissions as farmers could make themselves eligible for the services by entering their Aadhaar number. They can seek redressal for their grievances at a higher level with this app.
According to CM, the CRDA should inform the farmers about the utility of commercial and residential plots and they can learn about the revenue generation in coordination with foreign commercial entities. They should be assisted in real estate, commercial and joint ventures (JV) so that the better infrastructure for the capital city and economic benefits to the farmers could happen simultaneously.
