Identify land for integrated sportscomplex:Subrahmanyam
The State government directed the district administration to identify the lands to construct Integrated Sports Complex at Yarada and Aganampudi areas. In fact, the district administration identified lands in Gandigundam village near Pendurty about one-and-half years.

However, due to several reasons including connecting road network there is no further progress in the project. At several review meetings, the district administration explained about the available lands on the outskirts of city.
Principal Secretary, Youth, Sports and Games LV Subrahmanyam on Monday convened a review meeting on the issue and directed Collector Pravin Kumar and Vice Chairman, VUDA, Basanth Kumar to locate suitable lands for Integrated Sports Complex in Aganampudi and Yarada areas.
Tahasildar Eeswara Rao explained the availability of government lands at various places. Due to lack of suitable lands on the outskirts of city towards Madhurawada, the Principal Secretary directed the officials to locate lands in Aganampudi and Yarada areas.
