TDP candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy has emerged victorious in the Nandyal by-polls by defeating YSRCP candidate Shilpa Mohan Reddy by over 27000 votes.

The entire counting had TDP maintain a continous lead throughout the constituency which made the latter part of the counting a mere formality.

In the 16th round of counting, YSCRP took a slight lead with 654 votes but TDP had a staggering win in this by-election.

TDP party supporters were seen Celebrating the TDP victory in Nandyal By-Elections in Amaravati. They lit fire crackers and celebrated the win with joy outside the AP secretariat. TDP leaders even reached Amaravati to meet and congratulate Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for this prestigious win.

YSRCP 69,610
