Works will be speeded up at Durga temple: Sunitha
Women Empowerment Minister Paritala Sunitha on Sunday said more development works would take place at Durga Temple through the newly-formed temple governing committee.
Vijayawada: Women Empowerment Minister Paritala Sunitha on Sunday said more development works would take place at Durga Temple through the newly-formed temple governing committee.
She visited the temple and said that development works at the temple will now take place a little bit faster following constitution of the temple governing body and when compared to the works done last year.
Many works were in different stages of completion, she pointed out.The Minister offered special prayers to Goddess Durga ahead of her son Paritala Sriram’s marriage scheduled to be held shortly.
Earlier, the temple committee members welcomed her with Purna Kumbham. They also handed over ‘Prasadam’ after special prayers. She was gifted a portrait of Goddess Durga.
