Following TDP's victory in the Nandyal by-polls, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy thanked all those who voted for the party despite the threats and allurements from the ruling party.

Further thanking the party leaders for braving all the threats, he congratulated YSRCP candidate Shilpa Mohan Reddy along with his brother Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy for standing up for the right political morality.

Responding to YSRCP's debacle, YS Jagan said that TDP resorted to misuse of power in order to win the bypoll. Speaking further, he said that the administration used to threaten and influence the voters but added that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is mistaken if he thinks that he has won in Nandyal.

He said that Chandrababu duped the public and went back on the poll promises. Ys Jagan even pointed out that the people of Nandyal had lashed out at the Chief Minister heavily during the bypoll campaign, however, he managed to win as it is not a general election adding that the Nandyal defeat won't set him back.
