The 32-year old Bhuma Bramhananda Reddy, son of Bhuma Nagi Reddy’s brother, is set to enter the portals of the Assembly with a strong backing of his cousin and Tourism minister Bhuma Akhila Priya.

Bramhananda Reddy, a non-local from the Allagadda Assembly segment, could win the election only with an active support from the late Nagi Reddy’s group. Akhila Priya, stayed put in the segment and worked hard for the success of his brother till the polling day. The news of election result, declaring the winning of Bramhananda Reddy with a thumping majority, broke the Bhuma family into jubilation. Reddy offered sweets to Akhila Priya at their residence as a mark of thanksgiving.

When she was surrounded by a battery of media personnel for reactions over the victory, Akhila Priya looked around for his brother to stand by her side for a pose. Akhila Priya described her brother’s victory as a reward given by voters for the services done by his mother Sobha and father Nagi Reddy.

Bramhananda Reddy profusely thanked his sister for toiling hard for his victory. Accompanied by the family members, the duo went to Sobha Ghat at Allagadda to pay tributes to Akhila’s departed mother.
