Madepalli colony residents seek amenities

Eluru: Residents of Madepalli Colony staged a dharna at the Collectorate here on Monday demanding officials provide roads, drains and drinking water facilities in the colony near Eluru city.

They said though the Colony was established five years back, no basic amenities have been provided in the colony. Little rain makes the roads flooded thus troubling the colony residents to walk on these roads. As the drainage facility was not provided, the rain water and drainage water flow on the roads, acting as breeding ground for mosquitoes in the colony.
