‘12 lakh land issues identified for correction’
District Collector R Mutyala Raju informed that revenue officials had identified so far 12 lakh land related issues across the district. The Collector reviewed with RIs, VROs on purification of land records at Kota mandal revenue office on Tuesday.

Speaking at the meeting, Collector said that the revenue officials had taken measures to make corrections in 31 columns of Adangal forms keeping in view of actual situation.
Tahasildars, RIs and VROs have been working on the issues for the last three months, he added. He stated that they had distributed a manual to the VROs to create awareness on purification of records.
‘Officials have identified about 70 per cent of land issues with minor issues like correction of surnames and without Aadhaar numbers,’ said the Collector.
He also said that 2.77 lakh land issues have been identified under Gudur revenue division. Mutyala Raju explained that revenue officials had identified 68 land issues across the district and they had granted permission for Tahasildar offices to resolve such issues. He also informed that purification of land records would be completed before December 31.
