Director General of Indian Coast Guard Rajendra Singh, will be arriving here on a three-day visit to the Coast Guard headquarters, Eastern Seaboard, on Wednesday. On his maiden visit to the HQ, CGC(ES),
Visakhapatnam: Director General of Indian Coast Guard Rajendra Singh, will be arriving here on a three-day visit to the Coast Guard headquarters, Eastern Seaboard, on Wednesday. On his maiden visit to the HQ, CGC(ES), the Director General will be briefed on various activities of the headquarters by Additional Director General K C Pande, Coast Guard Commander (Eastern Seaboard).
The Director General will also interact with the officers, men and civilians in the city. He is scheduled to visit the Coast Guard Station at Kakinada and Coast Guard Air Enclave at Bhubaneshwar to review the progress of infrastructure and works being undertaken by the Coast Guard.
During the visit to Bhubaneshwar, the Director General will also inaugurate the aircraft operations facilities and Hangar at the newly established Air Enclave. The Director General will be accompanied by his wife Urmila Singh, President Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association on his visit.
