A veterinary doctor died on the spot when a speeding truck hit him at Buchireddypalem village on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Masthanaiah (53), a resident of B V Nagar in Nellore. He used to work at Siddipuram of Sangam mandal.
Nellore: A veterinary doctor died on the spot when a speeding truck hit him at Buchireddypalem village on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Masthanaiah (53), a resident of B V Nagar in Nellore. He used to work at Siddipuram of Sangam mandal.
He completed his work at Buchireddypalem on Tuesday and was returning to Siddipuram. A speeding truck mowed down Masthanaiah which was heading towards Nellore from Sangam.
The police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to a government hospital for post-mortem. A case was registered and the investigation is on, said Buchireddypalem SI Naga Siva Reddy.
