School HM dies in road mishap
Ramavaram High School head master VD Vijay Kumar died after his two wheeler, which he was driving was knocked down by a commercial vehicle at Pendurthy Junction, here on Wednesday.
Visakhapatnam: Ramavaram High School head master VD Vijay Kumar died after his two wheeler, which he was driving was knocked down by a commercial vehicle at Pendurthy Junction, here on Wednesday.
Vijay Kumar left his home at Vepagunta area and when he reached Pendurty Junction, a commercial vehicle coming in the opposite direction knocked his motorcycle. He sustained serious head injuries and rushed to King George Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Soon after the news was spread, hundreds of students rushed to King George Hospital. Education department officials, who were shocked, said Vijaya Kumar played a pro-active role in the development of the school.Pendurty circle inspector J Murali registered a case and investigating. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody.
