2 jewellers held with 2 kg gold

Two persons, who alighted Kerala Express midway at Vijayawada railway station, were taken into custody and questioned for carrying two kg gold sans documentation here on Thursday.According to railway police, the two were identified as Nitish Khatri (29) and Nanda Kishore Khatri (32) of Priyanka Jewellers in Nellore.
Vijayawada: Two persons, who alighted Kerala Express midway at Vijayawada railway station, were taken into custody and questioned for carrying two kg gold sans documentation here on Thursday.According to railway police, the two were identified as Nitish Khatri (29) and Nanda Kishore Khatri (32) of Priyanka Jewellers in Nellore.
They boarded Nellore-Secunderabad Express and did not travel their destination though they have ticket valid till Secunderabad. They alighted at platform No 10 and wandering suspiciously. When police questioned them, they said that they have some business at Jaggaiahpet.The government railway police handed over them to income tax officials, along with seized gold, for further investigation.
