The state government has announced Chandranna Pellikanuka for Backward Castes, which ensures financial assistance of Rs 25,000 for marriage. He also announced that Kapu students would be provided scholarships similar to BC students. Reviewing on implementation of welfare schemes, programmes of Brahmin, Kapu Corporations and BC Federation at Secretariat on Wednesday, Naidu said the BCs would be provided modern work tools under Adarana scheme. The government has decided to provide Rs 10 lakh from BC federation for a group of 5 members to establish a unit under self employment scheme,” the CM added.
