CBI sleuths nab ONGC official

The CBI officials of Vizag region on Wednesday evening arrested DGM (Infrastructure) of ONGC, Kakinada, P Venkata Rao, for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 4 lakh from a contractor at Kakinada in East Godavari district. Sources said that Rao has demanded the bribe from the contractor for awarding him a contract in ONGC Kakinada.
Visakhapatnam: The CBI officials of Vizag region on Wednesday evening arrested DGM (Infrastructure) of ONGC, Kakinada, P Venkata Rao, for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 4 lakh from a contractor at Kakinada in East Godavari district.
Sources said that Rao has demanded the bribe from the contractor for awarding him a contract in ONGC Kakinada. The DGM is being questioned and will be produced before the special judge for CBI cases in Visakhapatnam on Thursday.
